Switch the brief to the agent?

Automate it or keep it human

The situation

Sofia produces the competitive brief every two weeks from public sources. Kenji has prototyped an agent workflow that produces a draft in about twenty minutes and wants to switch from the next brief.

Kenji · Operations: “The Nov 26 brief is in twelve days. Can I switch it over?”

You can put one question to Sofia before deciding. Choose it, then decide what to approve.

What you can see

E01 · The problem as proposed

The brief takes Sofia about four hours each fortnight. She is the only analyst and the bottleneck on three other things: the quarterly pricing review, sales battlecards and the analyst-relations calendar. All three are late.

E02 · The prototype

The agent pulls the same public sources, fills the existing template and produces a draft in about twenty minutes. Set beside Sofia's latest brief it is comparable, arguably better organised, and it caught a pricing-page change at Copperleaf that her brief missed.

E03 · The numbers and the risk

Four hours to twenty minutes, 26 briefs a year, about 100 analyst-hours returned. Risk is called low: public-source research, and Sofia reviews each brief before it goes to sales.

What do you ask Sofia?

Your first choice is kept. Changing your mind later counts as a retry.
